High Speed Network FAQs
Selecting a fiber service provider is an important decision. Begin by identifying which services — such as internet, telephone, or TV — are most important to you.
Once you’ve narrowed down your options, contact a few providers directly. Ask about their service offerings, customer support hours, and any current promotions. If a provider has a strong reputation and gives you confidence during your conversation, they may be the right fit for your needs.
If your home already has a fiber gateway installed, your provider can typically activate service quickly. If not, they will coordinate with Grant PUD to install the necessary gateway equipment. Your provider will also advise you on any additional hardware you may need, such as a wireless router, and will be your primary contact for setup, support, and troubleshooting.
Your chosen service provider is your primary point of contact for all questions or concerns related to your fiber connection and associated services. Whether you need help with installation, equipment setup, troubleshooting, or service upgrades, your provider is there to assist you every step of the way.
If a fiber gateway is already installed at your location, activation may be completed within a few days. If installation is required, your provider will schedule a time and coordinate with Grant PUD.
Contact your service provider directly. They will assist with troubleshooting, equipment checks, and any necessary service adjustments.
