You're invited to Grant PUD's 2027 Rate Hearing on Nov. 10
Dear Grant PUD Customers,
As a community-owned public utility, Grant PUD belongs to the people of Grant County. That means your voice matters. Before any final decisions are made on the proposed rates for 2027, we want to hear directly from the customers and communities we serve.
You have an opportunity to learn about the proposed 2027 rates and our long-term rates strategy, ask us questions, and provide input that will help inform the Commission's decision-making process.
The proposed 2027 rates include a 3.5% increase for residential, small business, and agricultural customers (considered our core customers) and up to a 24% increase for some specific data center customers. This proposal is designed to keep electric service reliable and make sure costs are shared fairly. It helps protect residential, small business, and agricultural customers and makes sure new growth pays the added costs it brings. It also helps ensure that rates better reflect the costs of providing electric service, now and in the future.
I encourage you to visit www.grantpud.org/2027rates to review the proposal, supporting materials, and background information. We hope you'll take a few moments to learn more and share your perspective with us.
You can submit comments online during the public comment period or attend the public hearing on November 10 at 2 p.m. in the Commission Room at Grant PUD's Ephrata Headquarters. There is also a virtual option to attend the hearing that can be found on our 2027 Rates webpage. Written comments will be accepted through November 12, 2026 and can be mailed to Grant PUD, ATTN: Commissioners, PO Box 878, Ephrata WA 98823.
Public participation is one of the things that makes Grant PUD strong. We value your perspective and encourage you to be part of the conversation as we plan for the future of electric service in Grant County.
Sincerely,
Ty Ehrman
Senior Vice President of Retail Operations
Grant PUD
