Grant PUD names Andy Wendell vice president of Customer Experience

An accomplished leader with more than 34 years’ experience in customer service across a wide spectrum of public-utility services, has been named Grant PUD’s vice president of Customer Experience.

Andy Wendell joined Grant PUD in June 2024 as senior manager of Large Power Solutions, overseeing coordination with the utility’s largest industrial customers. He came to Grant after 36 years at Chelan County PUD, building a leadership career that has spanned customer services in energy conservation, engineering and community outreach, fiber-optics, and water.Grant PUD names Andy Wendell vice president of Customer Experience

“I’m honored to step into my new role,” Wendell said. “During my year at Grant, I’ve been truly impressed by the talent, dedication and care across this organization. I have a deep passion for serving our communities and am excited to join the executive team to keep the customer at the center of everything we do.”

Wendell earned an Associate of Arts & Applied Sciences Degree in Engineering Technology at Wenatchee Valley College in June 1994. He has since completed numerous utility industry training programs in leadership, management, and various technical systems.

An outdoorsman who leads fly fishing excursions, Wendell also enjoys fly tying, Italian culture and travel, cooking and natural foods and personal and professional growth. He begins his new role June 20. He'll continue to support Large Power Solutions until his replacement is selected.
