Grant PUD Commissioners name four finalists to fill District No. 2 vacancy
EPHRATA, Wash. – Grant PUD's board of commissioners has identified four finalists in their search to appoint someone to fill the remainder of the late commissioner Dale Walker's term through December 2022.
The vacant District No. 2 position on the five-member board represents the southeastern portion of Grant County, including portions of Moses Lake, Warden and surrounding areas.
The finalists include:
- Michael McKee, of Marlin, who is self-employed
- Terry Pyle, of Moses Lake, who is an instructor at Big Bend Community College
- Ronald Reis, of Moses Lake, who is employed at REC Silicon
- Patti Paris, of Moses Lake, who is a retired accountant and chief financial officer
PUD commissioners completed their initial interviews with appointee applicants this past week and now they request public comments about any of the four finalists. Comments can be made during the public comment period of the Sept. 28 and Oct. 12 commission meetings. Public comments are taken at 1 p.m. on those days. The public comments will help commissioners during the final evaluation of the candidates as they work to appoint the new commissioner during their Oct. 26 meeting.
