Your project must be served by Grant PUD and be defined as a non-residential account. To receive a rebate your application must be accepted by Grant PUD. Projects may require a pre-installation inspection/review by a Grant PUD representative prior to installation. Newly installed materials must meet or exceed current Grant PUD specifications. Grant PUD reserves the right to reject any application that is incomplete or does not meet program criteria or standards. Rebates are available for projects with agreements signed by the customer and Grant PUD until Grant PUD funds expire.
Complete Application: Customer and/or contactor completes a Grant PUD Energy Efficiency Program Application and any other required documentation for the project. A sprinkler package is eligible for rebate for each field no less than every five (5) years.
Submit Paperwork to Grant PUD: Submit application and invoice of material to Grant PUD for approval.
Grant PUD Review: Grant PUD will review your paperwork, determine if an onsite review is necessary, and verify that suggested upgrades qualify for rebate.
Get Paid: Upon review and approval of your paperwork, Grant PUD will send the rebate amount to the mailing address noted on the application or as an ACH payment if requested.
Codes and Permits: The owner agrees to secure permits and comply with all applicable federal, state, and local codes and requirements concerning design and installation of all energy conservation measures. Where permits are required, installation must be approved by Authorities Having Jurisdiction. The Owner agrees to maintain compliance documents in their files and have them available for review if requested.
Compliance: The Owner is solely responsible for proper installation and operation of conservation measures installed under this Agreement. The failure to meet all Grant PUD’s requirements may result in a reduction or elimination of the rebate.
Disclaimer of Design and Performance Warranties: Grant PUD makes no warranties, whether express or implied concerning the design, energy savings or the energy efficiency of the conservation measures.
Indemnification: The Owner agrees to hold harmless and indemnify Grant PUD from and against any and all claims, costs, expenses and liability of whatsoever kind or nature arising from or related to the Owner’s performance of its obligations herein, technical requirements, standards and design requirements.
Audits/Inspections: The Owner agrees to allow Grant PUD staff to do an audit of existing measures before any changes, and a post-installation inspection of installed measures in order for Grant PUD to determine the estimated and actual energy savings achieved by the installation of the upgraded measures. Audits and inspections will be done during normal business hours.
Payment: Equipment and Labor invoices as well as any other required information must be submitted to the Grant PUD before payment is made. After acceptance and determination by Grant PUD that all standards, technical requirements and conservation measures have been installed in accordance with this document, Grant PUD shall pay the Owner. This rebate amount shall be calculated (using current incentive rates) at completion of project by Grant PUD representative.

This agreement shall be supplemented with a Conservation Agreement for rebate amounts greater than $25,000.
