Plat/Development Service

All applications have required fields, make sure you have the following information available:

1. Grant PUD account number  

  • Your account number can be found on your monthly statement.
  • Log in to ePay to view your account
  • Call Customer Service to speak with a representative at 509-766-2505 to obtain your account number or to create a new account.

2. Service location information 

Find your parcel number on the Grant County GIS website

3. Service request information 


4. Service size in Amps and service voltage information
 


5. Temporary Service for Construction if applicable 


6. Additional information you will need
 

  • City or County approved plat drawing with assigned addresses
  • Civil engineering drawings (plans that show all other utilities) 
  • Electrical load and service size per lot or apartment. 
  • Developer and Engineer contact information
  • For phased projects, please provide a plan showing all the future phases
The Distribution Engineering department will determine what is required to provide service to your project. Fees will be based on the project type. All fees must be paid in advance of construction. Once Grant PUD has completed installing the wire and transformers. A residential application will be required to get permanent power to each newly constructed home. We will not install a meter until we have the address that is tied to the corresponding lot.

Helpful Information

  1. The developer must provide and install all trenching, sand bedding, backfill, conduit sweeps, and vaults.
  2. All materials must meet and be installed to Grant PUD's standards.
  3. The district's materials specifications sheets may be obtained from the designer assigned to the project.
  4. All customer-installed structures and conduit installations shall be inspected and approved by the district inspector prior to backfill.
  5. It is the customer's responsibility to coordinate with other utilities.
  6. Grant PUD will provide and install the primary (high voltage) electrical wire/bussing and transformer(s.)
