Frequently Asked Questions - High Speed Network Wireless

FAQs - High Speed Network Wireless

We have made the decision to deploy a wireless network to the rural parts of Grant County and some urban areas without fiber service, because we can offer a quality network service to most of our rural customers in a much more cost-effective and rapid manner than slowly buliding out the fiber network. We believe that the wireless network will provide most of our customers a reliable and effective network connection that will meet their needs.

Having options is always a good thing! We have several service providers available for you to choose. Your service provider will be your primary contact for your network connection, so it's important that you take the time to see what they have to offer and choose the one that best meets your needs.

After you choose a service provider, your service provider will coordinate the installation with us. You will need a subscriber unit device installed at your location with line-of-sight to one of our Wireless Network towers. Your service provider can also recommend a wireless router for your location if you want to use one for your devices.

Your point of contact is your service provider for all problems with the network. The provider will coordinate network problems with Grant PUD.
