Brandon Little approved as 'chief dam safety engineer'
Please join me in congratulating Brandon Little for being approved by the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) as District's chief dam safety engineer, effective Aug. 17. Kevin Marshall, who currently holds that post, will be retiring in September.
Brandon (inset photo) joined the District as a civil engineer with the Hydro Civil/Mechanical Engineering Department in 2008 and transferred to the Dam Safety Group in 2017 to strengthen our team. Before transferring to Dam Safety Brandon was the lead civil engineer and project manager on all the FERC license implementation projects associated with the Recreation Resource Management Plan.
Brandon took over the Priest Rapids Right Bank Embankment Project as the project manager in 2018. He is well known to FERC PRO staff who have worked on our project as well as many of our engineering consultants. As such, he has been a key member of the District's Dam Safety Team and brings a wealth of engineering and project-management skills to this position.
