Grant County PUD customers began calling just after 8:00 am this morning to report a large outage in Moses Lake affecting homes in Cascade Valley, Knolls Vista, the Larson Subdivision, the Base, Brown’s Addition, and the Central Dr area, among others. It was determined that a blown switch on the highline caused an outage at 4 different substations.
Crews were able to restore power to all but those homes in the Brown’s Addition and on Central Drive by 8:45. Power was restored to these homes by 9:00.
