Public meetings planned on future Grant PUD electric prices

Pair of meetings set for March 6

EPHRATA, Wash. – Grant PUD will hold two public meetings on Monday, March 6 to present projections for future electric prices.

The first meeting is at 2 p.m. in the Grant PUD Ephrata Headquarters Commission Room, 30 C Street SW, Ephrata WA 98823. The second meeting is at 6 p.m. in the auditorium of the Grant PUD Office, 312 W Third Avenue, Moses Lake WA 98837.

Two years ago, Grant PUD commissioners adopted a strategy of having small, incremental price increases phased in over time. The commissioners will then take public comment following the presentation.

Commissioners will use the information presented from staff, while also considering comments received from the public, to set new electric prices for customers in Grant County later this spring.

Materials for the meetings will be posted online at by Thursday, March 2.
