Andrew York Memorial Scholarship taking applications

Graduating seniors from any high school in Washington state in 2015 are encouraged to apply for the Andrew York Memorial Scholarship. The scholarship program will distribute a total of $4,500 in scholarships.

To be eligible for the scholarship, students must have been active in school or the community providing awareness to prevent impaired or distracted driving caused by influences such as drug, alcohol, marijuana use or texting while driving.

Applicants must be accepted into an accredited college, university or trade school. Preference is given to applicants who are active members of IBEW Local 77 or a child or grandchild of an active IBEW Local 77 member with verifiable documentation.
